I really like winter. Most everyone is indoors and more reclusive, that's my usual lifestyle so this helps me feel more normal. Music gigs die down and we get to work on some serious music, and opposed to all the frivolous contemporary tunes we're stuck playing all year for clueless clients. With less outdoor distractions, I usually put in a lot more hours to building new skills and technique, and we usually put on 2-3 recitals before spring hits. I run hot all the time, anything above 75 and I'm usually sweating a bit, so winter is pretty easy for me if we don't get slammed constantly by snow. Most importantly it's the most productive time for my grow op, so simple to keep a perfect environment for the ladies. People seem to purchase more, too, since everyone's cooped up inside. Bring it on...

i love walking around the indoor garden when it is 10 below and blizzarding out.
Yea, me too. I especially like drinking hot cocoa with marshmallows and a shot of Jameson, listening to Bing Crosby singing White Christmas in the background and trimming my Xmas harvest sitting around the old Yule log crackingly in the fireplace. It doesn't get any better than that.

Used to love it. As I get older I dislike it very much. 3 yrs back we got 7 feet total of snow. Me and my bride are looking for land and a homestead in Ft. Bragg Calif. want to throw away my snow shovel!!!!!
