Do you prefer quantum boards or strips?

My local grow generation has a display in the store that has a Fluence Spydr, Gavita Pro 1700e and light from a company called ION LED all side by side. The ION LED is 100% an Alibaba light and very very similar to what I've got. Compared along side the Gavita and the Fluence, there really is not a noticeable difference in build quality. If anything the Gavita appeared to be the cheapest feeling one. I know thats not all there is to judge a light on but still. I didn't buy my light expecting it to last 10 years. I was banking on 2 years tops. By then I figured there would be some new tech I'd wanna try out. After one grow with my lights, I'm confident I made the right choice. There is no way the Gavita is worth over three times as much!
Yea I agree those lights are ridiculously overpriced. I understand some people want a strong warranty and like to be able to call the company if theres a problem but I'm fine with taking that risk to save a few hundred bucks.

If I was going to spend that kind if money I think I would go with the Chilled Growcraft

As nice as the Chilled lights are, I don't think I'd ever buy one or any of the other expensive name brand stuff. If I was running a commercial op, it would be a different story. But even then, I might still consider going with Alibaba lights and just keeping a few extra lights on standby in the event that one fails. Some of the vendors actually do provide legit warranty support but its just a hassle because usually you have to send the lights back and wait for a replacement.

For now I run my china lights and keep a couple of HPS lights in the garage in case something happens.

Something like this should work for you. The dimensions are perfect and Hortibloom has a decent reputation. I've seen them at another local hydro store and they appeared high quality as well. This would be an absolute MONSTER in a 3x3.

LOL. If you can even find a PS5 I'd jump on that first. Now that you've got me back on Alibaba I'm shopping myself. I'll be picking up some supplemental bars in the next few weeks here. They've got UV and Far reds on them. I've got a buddy doing a side by side right now with and without the supplemental bars and the difference is crazy.

hence the title says for beginners, so why did you watch it other than to start an argument about it.
to see if there is any reason I should be listening to what these guys have to say. then I went back in the thread and saw you spamming other youtube videos.

I guess you aren't paying attention, I have offered plenty of decent advice. the only twat in here is you and your youtube bioscience vids. OP didn't ask about beginners advice for growing weed.

typical condescending attitude of the elitist wankers on this site. they should add the words commercial or industrial to the name of this site. then tell all the personal growers to fuck off somewhere else. why dont you just cut to the chase and say it.

the amount of alts on here is a fucking disgrace as well
I don't have an alt and I'm not being condescending or elitist. I had a page long discussion with the OP of this thread discussing realistic options and providing actual data and experience. All you've done is chat shit and spam youtube videos. If everywhere you go smells like shit, maybe its time to check your own shoes.
