Do you think I stress my plants ?

Hi again everyone !

When I do a reservoir change ( once a week ) ,I take out one plant and put it on a table . On my working table there's another empty 5 gallon bucket ,in wich I will place the plant the time I go empty and wash my first bucket . When cleaned ,I fill with water and nutes ,PH ,and put back the plant in the tent ...
My question is : do you think that is enough to stress my plants ? I think they look great ,I also think they were a bit slow to grow ,but I'm also inexperienced so ...

Hey Boris what's up man ?? Nice to meet you !. I don't hesitate exact same thing when I change nutes every week . And I have not noticed any change at all negative or positive .. so in my opinion you are not hurting or stressing anything out .

I'm doing dwc for the first time and I was planning to have a second bucket already filled with nutrient water and oxygen running so when I transplant I just switch their lids

You do not need to change your reservoir at all you can just keep topping off with water every 3-5 days. and every 7-10 days add nutrients. for your entire grow cycle
your best friend is a PPM meter,

and your ppm can be very high if your strain can handle it. i go as high as 5k building up gradually

why not just run oxy plus in system h2o2 will add lot air to roots and clean slimes ect

IMO not a good idea to go too long between res changes. I have done so in the past as I wanted to be thrifty with nutes, but my yield was a lot less. The wastes that the plants produce tend to build up over time and need to be changed out. Also you will have an increasing percentage of your ec/ppm that is unavailable to the plants over time. The plants can't ever take up 100% of what you give them (not all the salts will break apart so the plants can take them up) and new molecules of various kinds will create themselves in that chemical soup that the plants will never have access to. Your NPK ratios will also increasing be off from the ideal.

You are better off doing regular changes and just using cheaper powdered nutes like the Jacks 321 formula. Greengenes shows the recipe on his channel, its a tried and true method by many growers:


Growmau5 also did a side by side with Jacks 321 against the Millenium lineup and saw no basically no difference in yield:

bad advice all the way around man.
all kinds of undesired pathogens grow in res water care to share the link of the ppm meter that reads that high, been looking for one. maybe change your battery too

Thanks dude ! Cool vids ,I am interested in the Jack's nutes. I even found a dealer that sells it near here ...
