well thats the thing if you cant see the trichs in the pic..which its not a macro pic so you cant, then you have to go off his info and he said its been flowering for four weeks....with that info it cant possibly be done assuming hes right
I do not need to look at the trichomes. When you have grown enough plants you know what a finished cannabis plant looks like.. I'm going off my experience and i'm saying that that plant looks ready.

ya and if you read the whole thread i said the same thing...i dont look at the trichs anymore either but he should if hes a noob and its kinda hard to tell by those pics if it "looks" ready because hes using a halogen bulb it looks like and that thing is totally not filled out yet or else stretched to the max but at the same time the buds that ARE there look done so somethings weird idk....he needs to just check the trichs

the problem was he wasnt sure when it kicked over to flowering so he said its only been flowering for a month....then later said he isnt sure about that info, since he kept changing the story he kept getting different answers and 90 days isnt long enough for any plant anyway you figure a month of veg and 70 days flowering is still 100 days i would never chop a plant after only 90 days personally...i think he could have waited a week or two and by now he probably has..it does look done and all but it also looks goofy as hell lol it never filled out so since hes not sure about times and hes new to growing he should really check the trichs and just get his own feel for when to chop

wheres the peace and love lol no need to fight. but i hear u guys. i figure to late is worse then to early. so ima chop it in a few days i guess. i just have a quik question. when i cut it, should i hang the entire plant upside down for a day or two before i cut the branches off and hang them upside down individually? i feel like all the juices in the main stem rush to the buds when upside down. what do u guys think

lol theirs no "juices" running anywhere.....heres my advice on drying curing....NEVER trim the plant after you dry what you want to do is first remove all fan leaves while the plant is still standing then cut off branch by branch and from top to bottom cut off the little leaves hanging out the buds,(these are perfect for making brownies after just a day or two your not trying to cut the leaves OUT of the buds just keep the natural shape of the nug and kinda spiral down, if that makes sense....you want fully manicured buds before you dry or you will have a harder time trimming and you will also get a grassy nasty smell that will persist if you dont get a perfect cure.....then you dry each branch (or bud because if i have a long stick with one bud on it ill just cut the bud off right away) and when you have a nice crisp outside maybe 5ish days give or take then you jar it up and be careful to take it out if it gets moist again and let it sit a hour or two...ideally you stop drying at the perfect time to not have to do this too much..

i have a question about calyx style bud.
i saw some1 say i have that type from looking at my pics. if i leave the bud in for another month do u think the "calyx style" will open up? cause this bud really doesnt look like anyone elses, like it hasnt puffed up yet

The OP could state it has been flowering for 5 days. I would still tell him to chop. As i've said, look at the plant, the dates don't mean ANYTHING.

ya and if some guy psoted a thread that said he had been flowering for 2 weeks but the buds looked kinda done you would be telling me how it looks mean nothing because we both know no marijuana plant on earth finishes in 2 weeks. plus i already fucking said i agree with you i can spot a finished plant of my own without looking at the trichs too whopty fuckin doo...this guy doesnt have that experience and he should learn to feel that out himself...answer the guys questions and be helpful instead of bantering with me idk why your even trying to argue with me because uhh sorry but ya time does fucking matter to an extent their is such a thing as a harvest window and its never before a certain point and never after a certain point..hmmmm what do we call that class TIME!!!! stop talking to me your annoying

everyones so hostile. anyway im gonna take more pics today and show u guys because theres new long long pointy white hairs that came out toward the bottom and they need to turn orange like the rest did i assume so i guess its staying in for a week or two more for a total of 4 months.

ya i think your plant only "looks" done for some reason...due to the time your giving and the fact that its still throwing out new pistils and since it really hasnt filled out yet i just dont think it does look done....i seem to be the minority here but idk i have a track record for being right :bigjoint:.....did you get your loupe in the mail yet? that will tell ya for sure....and idk why the hostility he was being condescending i think and i had a buzz soooo oops lol

lol noo doubttt, well problem is, the idiot i am i order this fucking loupe from china! so its like taking 3 weeks to get here lol..... ikr.. so thats kidna out of the question unless it gets here before all the pistils turn orange. im just gonna go off the pistils and stuff. i have a whole new system and light setup for next go, next time will be great.

stop feeding as in no more chemicals? straight water?

on another note, my new light setup is out of control lol. i have 3 different lights giving off 3 different rays at the same time through out the whole cycle. anyone have any advice on what lights r the best to use at the start, then ending. mabey thats why this one grew so weird. but idk well see. ill have pics soon probly

i have a incandescent grow light
a day time light
and the purplish bulb light

ya imo its best to use cfls for veg and an hps for flowering...anything but an hps for flowering and you really wont yield much...and ya straight water for sure...you want to go just straight water for the last two weeks or so imo..im not saying you have to flush if you dont want to but just at least dont add any more nutes...

i need u to spell it out cause i dont know wut any of that stands for honestly lol my bad

and ight thanks for the nutrients part
