Do you think the world will really end in 2010

The way you think of the world ending, fire, death, planet stopping completely or exploding or whatever... I don't think that's going to happen.
I think, like many others I'm sure, that humanity as a whole is going to come into a new age of enlightenment and knowledge. Kind of a "realize the error of your ways" thing.

Aztecs, Mayans, cultures so mysterious and unreachable.. predicted 2012... idk, seems to have some kind a truth to it.

If the Mayans were so smart, why couldn't they see that they were killing their civilization by destroying their environment? Also, human sacrifice is bad karma.

Qaxx dont be fuckin dumb.. Tell me how the Myans destroyed their environment? If anything it was the Spanish conquistador's that destroyed the environment. Did you ever think maybe human sacrifice was a way to keep the population down, if you believe in karma then you believe every person getting sacrificed essentially had it coming, it was their karma...

I truly hope 2012 is just our journey into the new age... Unfortunately i do believe it is going to be times of much catastrophe, Massive earth quakes, Tornadoes, Volcanoes, Tsunami's, will all come with polar changes.. At this point we will have close to 7 billion people fighting for life, food, shelter, etc.. Our planet is to the point where we cannot support our population on just natural resource, we require man made food production which will diminish at the destruction of factory's, roads, etc.

The world power's know whats going to happen, they want it to happen, they understand that if a mass decrease in our population doesnt happen soon their wont be anymore viable resources left on earth... If something doesnt happen we will exhaust our earth for all she's worth then everyone's dead..

It sucks and is unfair that it is the way it is but we have been given time to prepare and if you dont use this time to figure out how you and your family are going to survive then you are really going to regret it come the beginning Jan 2013...

I always root for the underdog and it sounds like Jesus is a bit of a cocky dude. Back to reality though, the world will end someday when our sun begins to die and swallows/burns up the earth, that is a scientific fact. Other than that the world should be fine, humans on the other hand have a lot more to be worried about. Asteroid, Nuclear Weapons, Famine, Gamma Rays, etc could wipe us out but the earth will still be rockin. So maybe people should rephrase it to the likes of "2012 The end of humanity?"

Jwn i agree it wont be the end of the world, i dont think it will be the end of humanity, people will survive, rebuild ect.. Could finally teach humanity to unite as a whole and get us past uncommon differences... Things like racism, sexism, religion, etc...
