Do you trim her bush during the flowering period?

My lady is 57 days old and has been flowering for exactly 2 weeks. I left her into veg for longer than anticipated and shes gotten quite bushy. Is it healthy/beneficial to trim her older, and larger fan leaves so the light is passed onto the lower branches? Or is it best to just leave her as is?

What areas are you "allowed" to trim? Does it affect growth?

some people pluck, some people tuck. if you cut off too many of the large fan leaves early on, it can really slow growth. usually by the first week of flower i'm done trimming, then i begin tying down.

Leaves are the center of chlorophyll production (plant food), so cutting off too many would not be good, you do want to maximize light tho. If you cut the big leaves you are cutting off the main production sites. I personally only cut dead leaves. If your plant is too big for the current lighting situation, I might cut a couple large leaves.

What kinda lights you using?
