My ex was bi-polar and a real cunt might I add, but we use to burn enough to chill her out so it can help out with things like (Bi-polar, Character Disorders, and some mild Skytzophrinia) and save a guy who doesnt even know what he's gettin bitched at for's life. That woman was CRAZAY!

I would say I'm a recreational user, that was the reason I started smoking and the reason I continue. But, smoking herb has helped with depression/anxiety along with medication, helped me learn more about myself than ever before and helps me sleep.
"a cone a day keeps the doctor away" as i always say.

nobody thinks like i do? then again i guess it all depends on your definition of medical use......i started smoking cuz i was so depressed and it changed my whole outlook on life, i stopped taking my 8 different meds for depression/bi-polar/schizo/adhd and some other bullshit doctors said i have and im doing great. mj saved my life cuz i think i would of killed myself if i had just stuck to the meds. or became a alcoholic and slowly killed myself. so by medicinal do u mean like just the people who could/do get it for a physical ailment from a doctor?or do u count *self medicating*(as my social worker and psychiatrist called it) for mental reasons?

I never really thought about it like that, because I use it for my own enjoyment. I guess it's whatever you consider yourself, a recreational user or a medical user. If that makes sense.

yeah medicinal use for increased positivity in state of mind would definitely count as a medicinal use . . . this is half my medical reason for using weed.

my other half is a permenantly disabled arm, my right elbow has scar tissue in the joint that stops me from moving it completely, 35% movement (started with a fracture that wasn't taken care of fast enough, so it calcified and jammed the joint in place.)

my arm has been dramatically better since I started smoking weed. I feel like I can push it harder than it's used to. I've made so much progress that you can't even tell I'm disabled unless I let you in on it.

but then I also have the recreational aspects, which I wouldn't trade for the world. the simple things that become amazing things that keep me entertained with this simple world. weed helps me see the color in the greyest landscape . . .

I really, really like smoking, but I also had my colon removed and along with some "middle age" arthritis, I do use it for medicinal reasons.

Since they just legalized medical marijuana in my state, I'm hoping to get my card someday, if I can find a way to broach the subject with my new doctor.

don't forget pure cannabidol can basically stop arthritis in its tracks ;)

When I got hit in the head with a golf club, I had a minor skull fracture and I definatly saw the medical aspects when I had to use it for pain.
But state will never have MMJ. I live in Utah btw

Yeah it sucks bad. I had to wait till last month to buy my own rolling papers. The age is 19... I don't get that at all.

It's 19 in New Jersey as well. The drinking age also threw me for a loop... growing up in Alberta, Canada... I'd been looking forward to drinking when I was 18. Then I moved here and had to wait 'til I was 21!! I call BULLSHIT! If you're old enough to be drafted against your will to serve in a war... you're old enough to get shitfaced. S'all I'm sayin'.

Medicinal and recreational.

I could get a legit medical card if I lived on the coast, but not here. We tried to expand the program, but it got deadlocked by the republicans (who can rot in hell, btw). It makes me angry that people can walk in to a doctor in Cali, and get a card for no reason, but I can't get a card when I have actual medical conditions.
