Are you using R/O Water?
Could be a Calcium defiency, but I see this more rarely. Wouldn't hurt to resolve that with a some Cal/Mag and use it either foliar or via root feeding. I would tent to lean against this one.

Could be a PH problem causing a lockout particularly of Cal or Mag. This is the more common problem and you should test the runoff of your water at your next feeding.

Where those the top leaves when you had the hot spell? They don't really get better, they just slowly decay so it could be what you are seeing. Another likely explanation and the one I would REALLY be leaning towards. See if the problem spreads to any NEW leaves not just getting worse on the leaves it's already affected.

Try to keep your temps under control, but prolonged exposuret to 97 degrees will definitely cause some leaf damage/burning.

thanks laserbrn

no R/O water......( i wish )

I will be sure I check the P/h on my next watering......thanks..........I will be buying some cal/mag next store visit...

The problem seems to be spreading......here and there....slowly......that's why I'm getting a little worried......but I will keep a close eye on it...

And I think the high temps are gone for now......thank you weather gods...

And again,..thanks for your reply....Laser

Well....I checked my runoff water....and found it to be around 5.0 plus or minus.........it started out at 6.3-6.5,

So I took some 8.0 water,...and ran it through a couple of them to see if I could at least bring it back up to 6.0...

Was that a good or bad move.....

Whats next....cal/mag?

please step to the front of the class if you would like to share.....Anyone......:blsmoke:

Thanks in advance....M

be careful checking your runoff because sometimes you get nute buildups and it will give you an inaccurate reading. Do it a few times to see if it's consistant.

That nute buildup is precisely the reason your ph is so low. I don't think that I would water with 8.0 water. Flush with 7.0 water and try to get the ph up a bit.

8.0 is a bit of a drastic maneuver. But your problem is more than likely caused by the low PH in the soil. Water with ph 7.0 water and foliar feed with cal/mag if possible while it recovers. Should bounce back and be just fine once it get's adjusted back a bit.

Thanks again laser for the help....

I'm on way to the magic store right now for some cal/mag.....and yes,... I will drop my PH back down to 7.0 when I flush tonight.....

I will post up what I find tonight.....I'm going to be making Clones and moving the mothers to that own room,.....than these are off to fallow the yellow brick road to 12/12 land....bongsmilie

Thanks again
