You normally run a 18/6 veg cycle, but occasionally you run it for 24 hours on days when you need to work on the plants or system?

I know a plant will stress if light creeps in during flower, but does the plant notice the difference between 18 and 24 hours of lighting?

Plants like consistency, if you change the light schedule it will cause some stress and some strains can take as much as a week to adjust which causes growth to slow, if you are changing it often (before it can adjust) there will most def be stress

I don't think dark time in veg does anything so neither does removing it. 24/7 has pretty much been proven superior.

the easy answer is dont do it. but if u think ur going to need to go in to ur grow area regularly when its the normal dark time then just put them on 24/0 continuous and that saves any light changes/ possible stress. btw why are u going in at dark time so often?

It's not that often, but a couple of times in the last week I have had no choice. Life has dictated my schedule and its been a whip cracking bastard lately.
