Does activated carbon create a CO2 enriched environment?

I just have a simple question that I thought about after installing my carbon filter and noticing the smell it gave off. I was wondering if circulating the activated carbon exhaust back out into the room would give the plants CO2. (i.e. does the activated carbon and air getting blown out create any kind of CO2?) Just a dumb question I thought of because as soon as I installed carbon filter, I swear my plants flowering began exploding. Could just be coincidence as they are in that stage of flowering anyway. Just seems like they have made more progress in a shorter amount of time on this grow. If anyone has any ideas I would appreciate it.

Ha, the universe works in mysterious ways! Thanks man. Yeh growing some himalayan gold that's slow as shit and now it finally started putting some pistils out and northern lights which goes pretty quick and it went from white pistils everywhere to a few amber trichomes in about 4 weeks under some cfls. But thanks poly it was something that crossed my mind a few times but never really found any info on it.

cfls produce ozone though just thought id let you know;)

LST FTW, indeed.
Florescent bulbs produce the tinniest amounts if any. There are actually some bulbs marketed to help with odor control - most use titanium dioxide. You can search for odor control bulbs on Amazon or elsewhere.

AFAIK, you could have a few dozen CFLs in a room and you will still get more ozone from the surrounding air.
