if so, what are your yeilds? and are you using a 430watt or 600watt light?

also the price on these is very steep.

you think there is a way to build something like this on your own? not looks wise but performance wise..

for those of you who havent seen it. heres the website

http://www.spinnerhydro.com/

lets build this beauty.
people are getting 1.2 pounds with a 430 watt light.

and closer to 2 pounds with a 600 watt light

it's not a great idea. your plants need more room than that. also if you have short bushy plants they'd be bumping nugs and tangling up and knocking thc off...
but that's just my thoughts ..

I dont think anyone would pay 2500 dollars for something that looks to be made to grow autoflowering plants. You could get alot more than 2 pounds investing that kind of money in a proper grow room. But I would buy one for 800 or so if nc is ever legalized as a little autoflower showcase kinda thing.

Been done. Its called a light mover.

The hydrofarms 6' light mover can be found for under $100 but not very useful out of the box. It takes about 20 minutes for it to travel 6 feet. So 3 passes per hour, not enough. Cut it down to 2 or 3 feet, now your getting somewhere. And it is easily done with nothing more than a few handtools. Hacksaw, screwdriver, nut driver and a pair of needle nose pliers and about an hour of your time. Say you are covering 3'x3' w/ 400 watts now. make yourself a 3 foot mover and expand your grow space to 3'x5'or6', now 6-7 or passes an hour, getting somewhere. Following me? Cool... You will be happily surprised. But here is the kicker. Its not so much the additional sq. ft. of grow space you gain as it is the light coverage. Yield wise that is. Much more light penetrates the lower sites when moved and you get better coverage overall. Plus no more 1/4 turn on the pots once a day. Just a half turn every 2 or 3 days and you will have some of the fullest plants you have every grown. DIY that works...... Happy Growing

sounds good. But i kinda was into the smaller plants. Being that they were only 12 of them. Cause i heard people yeilding a pound with a 430 watt. and closer to 2 pounds witha 600 watt. The reason i wanted the smaller plants was because your can harvest in as little as 9 weeks. I dunno thats just me tho. and plus you dont need a whole room do yeild this ammount. its just that its such a small space yeilding very welly.. if that makes sense.lol....but anyhow, i would never pay 2500 for that machine, so i was seeing if you kind friends maybe have built a prototype? or can teach me or something and lets learn together.

btw thanks for the info cowboylogic

I would be happy to help you out. By the way I grew my first pot plant before hippies even heard of 'HID' and have been a farmer even longer. First lesson: Ignore all of the marketing 'Hype'. And the claims of huge yields with less watts. Dont get me wrong a grower can do well with just 400 watts, but not out of the gate. You learn as you grow. Each crop will teach you something new. And the next may not be as good as the last. But your still growing and learning. Oh ya, get yourself some of the Joint Doctors Diesel Ryder seeds. Great small plants with all of the bigger boys flavor and kick. Nice way too start..........

If you think it is it is. You just have to learn 'HOW' to make it happen. And you will just have to search the seedbanks for the beans. Most carry them but are often out of stock. But can be found. Right place at the right time kinda thing.

I went through their site and couldn't find any measurements. How big is that thing? Looks like a pimped out Phototron... or more like a downgraded OmegaGarden

$2500...light NOT included. Well, yeah I guess NASA are the only suckers buying that thing.
