That depends on your definition of meditation I've heard many but the literal meaning of meditation is to think, so no the objective hear is to slow down your thoughts and emotions.

No the goal here is nothing telepathic.

The light is within. When we seek to know others, we are looking into darkness. But only through looking within ourselves are we able to see the light. Men love darkness rather than light. But how can loving yourself for self-preservation be against choosing life, which is your light within. Choose life and choose yourself. Know yourself and telepathy isn't needed. Because if you know yourself, who cares what another person wants to do to you. Because they will not be successful in bringing you down, as your light dispels the darkness and even the dark intentions of a heart (which we call telepathy). So I agree, the goal is not telepathic, but discernment, especially of the spiritual nature, is what we would consider telepathic.
