this is the first time in the HoLE time i've known you that i have to disagree.... i dont see how "gun talk" has to mean "gangster":confused:... most of the responses i've seen in this thread sound more "good ole boy" than "gangster"...:roll:

Dude I think you did a fine job. I've had a great time posting here and I completely respect you for your opinion. Hey, if we were all supposed to experience the same shit then we'd all use the same eye balls. I will never tell anyone what to think or that what they think is wrong. But I can suggest. I can also convey my thoughts as clearly as I possibly can. When you end a discussion feeling like you've made your point then it's time to listen and hear a different point of view that you may never have thought of. From there it's your choice to either take it or leave it. In my experience taking as much as you can from other people, when it's offered, is a great way of expanding your mind. Some people do that through drugs and "Drugs" god knows I have but now I just listen to what every one has to say. And if it sounds good or conveys a possitive message I'm all about it.


So thank you again Steve1978 for starting this thread.

Man I was talking to my wife last night, and she doesn't want me to get a firearm. She thinks I'll blast one of this kids or one of the kids will shoot themselves.

Don't tell her. Put a trigger lock on it and keep it hidden in case you need it. It won't be long and you won't be able to get one in this country.

Yeah you'll think that way until someone point one in your face or God forbid your wife's, takes your shit or possibly shoots you.
I use the strictly for protection I don't take them out and play with them. I have had plenty of practice in my day so if one of them comes out, trouble is at hand...

It is for my protection, but if my wife doesn't want it around i'll have to respect her wishes. As for someone putting a gun in my face...we'll cross that bridge when we come to it.

i'm 43 years old, i spent my 20's running around in Oakland. i know 1000's of people. i have NEVER met ANYONE who needed to use a gun as "protection". what a load of shit. :roll:

Why the name calling? Can't express yourself without demeaning someone else?
I fought for this country in the infantry during war time I earned my balls long ago.

I spent my 20's running around Kuwait and Iraq. Oakland ain't shit.
