I ask because amongst all the threads, on all the various websites, that go on and on about how amazing these products are, for me, they just fail. Miserably.
So basically the question I am asking is, does anyone know HOW Dichlorvos kill spider mites? I know with some toxins, the mites can build up very fast immunities.
I am in a 120 square foot room, with zero ventilation, on 12/12 I have had one of these HOT SHOT No Pest Strips hanging for 8 SOLID days and it seems like the only thing it did was speed up the process of which these things multiply.
There is no ventilation, or any fans for that matter. In fact I even have towels under the door frame, it's almost air tight...
So I broke out my others, I now have 4 in a 12X10 room.. almost 4X what is recommended. (No I am not living in there)
In the past I have tried Numerous (9) pyretherin bombs, azatrol dipping (Submerged my entire plants) habanaero chili oil spray, isopropyl alcohol, high humidity, spraying the plants with cold water, and just about, no, actually EVERY single fucking thing the entire internet has said to try (minus predatory spider mites, which is next) To rid myself of these 2-spotted-spidermites.
So in conclusion, is the Dichlorvos toxin un-resistible to spider mites? In the way sulfuric acid is to humans?
How does it work?
I am about to cut everything down and declare myself strait edge.
Please help.
