does anyone know if a plant with budrot can be used for topicals or salves.

I have a couple of plants with budrot and want to know if it's safe to make topicals. They have amazing trichomes and I hate to throw them away.

I guess what you have to ask yourself is "Do I want to rub fungus into my skin?".

As a guy who's allergic to mold, I would say no...

Some people will come on here saying yes. Some will likely even recommend you "wash" your buds in hydrogen peroxide to "kill" the mold and make your buds "safe". In reality, the health problems associated with molds and mildews are largely caused by the toxins they produce. Killing the mold does not make these toxins magically disappear.

All molds were not created equal!
We actually eat beneficial mold on french soft cheese and the like. Same with plant mold, some are absolutely harmless to humans.

I say no. Throw it away so nobody else is tempted to use it. Not worth the health risk.
