Does anyone NOT use bug repellent/fungus preventative?

i dont know if anyone said it but morning sunlight is vital; it allows morning dew to evaporate off your plant early in the day before the air warms up. If the dew doesn't evaporate and the day goes on theres a better chance of some mold forming (even though you may have better hours of sun somewhere else)

also i keep the bottom 1' of my plant cleared out and them all at the same level. This allows air to channel under the foliage and come upward, especially if you have a cold plant get the morning sun, the heat at the top brings air up through the whole foliage and allows it to get a great amount of air to dry it out. Also gives the plant extra air to breath in co2 and stuff

Also this 1' makes it harder for bugs to crawl up.

All of this was in trash barrels on my porch (so i can move em)

Last thing for mold is rain. I used an easy-up and kept track of the weather in mid-late flowering time. every storm i would go out and put the cover on it, it was very easy!

this makes it so rain isnt hitting your plant, possibly causing mold, snapping branches, or fucking up crystals(hard rain)

as for bugs i used a product called "captain jacks dead bug" with spinosad all the way up to mid flower, when i stop.
also i put sluggo plus around the perimeter of the grow, to prevent earwigs and slugs (earwigs suckk where i am)
and a myriad of vegi garden plants and venus fly traps. hopefully by late flower bugs wont be much of an issue if its getting colder out

also on the easy up i put up sticky fly traps
and about 5-10 feet away i put up those No-pest strips with the chemical that is probably really bad for you if u use it inside. One on each corner of the perimeter so it repels bugs

forgot to mention before using ANY insecticide its good to have no Sunlight, minimal ventilation, a moist(not dry) medium, and to foliar spray with plain water first
this makes the insecticide work to maximum potential while not clogging the stomata

the next day its good to rinse with water at a light pressure (not mist, you want some pressure)

also i use Spreader sticker which is a type of wetting agent, it makes the insecticide cling more. I use it in a turbo sprayer with the captain jacks or the mighty bomb.
Most people use a backpack sprayer with a certain micron sprayer that allows the insecticide to cover the plant properly
I never use insecticides mid or late flower

bt is pretty good stuff imo, but it doesnt work on everything. what bt product were you using that smells? ive used mosquito dunks and ewc tea for the bt niether of those smell.
