does anyone use growstar 150w minimax hps

Is there a difrence between the minimax hps and an other company,s 150w hps.? IF yes can you give me a rough idea of what the difrence is ie,bulb,ballast or reflector, i,ve just bought a new 400 and i,m thinking i may have rushed in ?

im running a parrallel test in a tent. 1 x minimax 150w digital hps next too a 600w hps hobby balast in a 1.2x1.2x2.00 tent. so far so good. can get much closer to the plant than the 600w... will keep updated

Hi, im new here, anyway i want to introduce a simple test which i made with MiniMax150w and Lumatek 250W dimm (Lunched on 150W),

Sorry for quality and for my english i made and add this video in night.

Anyway, MiniMax150W failed. 150w ballast (eletronic) Uses 24% more power than 150W,
With 600w electronic ballast (lumatek) you have 5% more power than 600W.

So minimax is not energy saver, its energy waster.

Also MiniMax150w brithness was almost the same like lumatek.
The price makes a diffrences.
