does bud change color when curing?

I've had some bud curing for over a month and just started to cure a new batch of the same strain. I noticed the cured buds have almost a golden hue to them where the newer batch is very green. No signs of mold or anything.

yea, believe it or not i had some Vanilla kush my friend swore up and down was stress when he looked at it in the bag he was askin me how i got stress to nug out so huge lol i was all dood its not stress its been cured 6-8 months lol i had this lid FOREVER, it turned straight BROWN gold colored you know almost how vanilla actually looks raw lol. Smokin that lid was AWESOME tasted so bomb after that long. Yea color change is normal because curing is the process of breaking down remaining chloryphyll in the nugs, hence the browner color as they cure up.

Cool, that's what I wanted to hear! I'm trying to get ahead of demand so I can be allowed to cure at least a month. Just doesn't seem to be around long enough.

Curing also is making the buds uniform in humidity level, which means there is about 1/3 as much water in them as when you started. The curing takes the inner moisture and kinda spreads it around, which would affect color.
