Does carbon filter clog faster using a cool mist humidifier?

If filters clog faster when using humidifier what can be done to mitigate this from happening?

Yes. Humidity creates a bonding effect for particles. Which then dry and become solid. As well as causing expansion in your medium reducing air flow. Yet if kept to normal RH humidity it will not seriously reduce performance. Keep the mist as far from the filter as possible is my best advice.
