That graph is nice but it is worth noting that that is just the visible spectrum. Check out this graph of relative energy output. The blue line is a 5500K CFL and the green line is a 5500K MH. Note that the MH has very intense spikes at very narrow bands of light whereas the CFL has a very wide spectrum of actual output, even though they both appear the same color (5500K) to the human eye.

Yes, and I was going to mention the new grow light meters are based on some trick principle that I seem to have forgotten. Oh, right. Quantum...something.

IAC, they measure the PAR, Photosynthetic Available Radiation, maybe? But, I thought it was cool to find they can also measure it at ground level, through the soybean, leaves for example.

That plant will hit the top for sure, it will double and sometimes triple in size. that happened to me I had to bend the whole cola in half almost . Good Luck.
