Would growing bud from seeds then useing the LST method on it effect the time it takes to flower? I will probably be useing the northern light strain. Thanks

Be patient, people will come and give you an answer. I have to agree with the poster above, if anything it is faster and you get more with LST...as long as you do not stress them out, you will be fine. You stress them out when you tie them to tight and bend them too far and break the branches.

On the other hand, I am trying a super crop on my buddies plants. There, you squash your stem a couple of times then bend down the branch at that spot. Do a search on RIU to find info on it. This will be the first time I tried this, at least on purpose. It seems to be working, but will have to try all three methods before i know which I like better, LST, supper crop, or a midway crop. I do not recommend just clipping the top growing bud from the plant. You only get one extra cola and with any of the other methods, you get many tops. Most people just clip the top bud off but these other methods are much better and give many more top type cola's.

Good Luck,
Flabs

To do a proper LST grow, it will take longer then a normal grow...as you bend the stem several times in several directions to acchieve maximum yield from small grow spaces.

yes to do it properly it will take a little longer but not much and well worth the weight

I agree with the two posts above me,
also I would highly recommend complementing LST with supercropping,
They work great together to create an even canopy.
