Does making wax require whipping?

Do you have to agitate the trichomes in order to end up with a product of that texture [wax]? Or is that just an urban myth? Please advise. Thanks and best regards.

I scrape from the dish, heat up and drip onto paper, then straight into a warm vacuum chamber for 3 days. it comes out as wax with 0 agitation.

Before I got a vac chamber the only way I could get wax was by whipping the un purged runny oil in bowl in a hot water bath into wax. After I got a vac I just leave it in their till it evaporates all the moisture and turns to wax as vacpurge and others said. I always wait for wax now I do not like trying to dab shatter and losing bits everywhere.

dont leave it in for so long blazin. that wax tastes like shit compared to what the oil used to taste like.

if you take it out a bit sooner, its not glass shatter its like a taffy wax. and it tastes 10x better.. wax = killed taste for the most part ive found.

I too dont like shattering glass shards flying everywhere, but wax crumbs arent fun either. taffy sticky oil that snaps when youre quick is the best!!!

Yup, agree with vacpurge. Me and my patients prefer BHO in the stable but not waxy state.

I think the way he was using it he meant touchable.

ps twitch.. those goo jars you posted, the 5 colored silicone ones... fuckin amazing!!! I bought some when I seen them and I love them. coolest thing ever. I imagine the slick pads are just as bad ass... how I expected parchment paper to be!!!

Yeah I hear you on that, the best tasting stuff I have ran was always purged for less than a day. The only advantage I can think of to letting it fully dehydrate for a few days is it keeps it from melting in the summer here in AZ, plus I prefer the texture
