does nutrients affect plants sex

growing out non-feminized seeds.......do you go very light on the nutrients etc, in the hopes it doesn't force more males.......or are they kinda genetically pre detirmined to be either male or female.......

no. the sex is predetermined.

so giving them a normal nutrients regimine shouldn't make more males than normal?
maybe i'm a lil parinoid after having a shitty experience with barneys farm g13-haze seeds i grow out last year......only got 2 femals out of 10 seeds. 8 were male.
