hairs dont mean anything. u want to look at the trichomes. you should have 50/50 milky/amber. if the trichs are clear its premature. u have to look at them under magnification

well i dont have a magnifier at the minute(gonna get 1 soon), i would say thears more brown hairs than white from looking at it. most of the leaves are yellow or have fell off. i'l try to get a good closeup picture later.

I have plants about to start week 10 of flowering. I have no way to check the trichs. What kind of magnifier do I need and where can I get one?

Thanks!

From those pics I would venture a guess to say that you could probably benefit from another week or 2 at least.

I'd give them at least 2 weeks as well. But I'm not so sure I agree about trichome color ratios like most people. I have 3 week 10 flower bagseed plants and they are all quite cloudy (75% at least) and no trace of any amber anywhere, one plant looks like it is actually done, the other 2 look like they have a few weeks left. Unless you are worried about getting too many amber trichomes, harvest in 2 or 3 weeks when the bud as a whole actually looks like its done (pistils will darken and recede into the bud, colas will look like they are done)
