Does stress cause plants to finish faster?

Just curious. My unscientific observation and tiny sample set seems to point in that direction. Obviously, there are different levels of stress; withholding necessary water is too much and will kill a plant in short order. I'm talking mild lockouts, etc., where the plants are still doing fair to ok, but not thriving. Mostly soilish mediums, I think hydro & others don't have a lot of leeway for stress to be corrected before you're dead in the water.

in my expirience stress slows them down as far as finishing (I'm sure different stressors will react differently on varying strains). but my 10 week strains seem to take more like 12 weeks to finish and my 8 week strains seem to take about 9-10 weeks. amd they are all stressed by nutrient/ph issues to the point where they go yellow real early.

Yeah, faster seems counter-intuitive. Here's a Ripper Grape Gum 49 days today from flip. Picture is poor, but some of those top buds could go today. Trichs are full, mostly cloudy, a few clear, and just a touch of amber beginning.
Just a thought. Ain't no thang.

Those do seem about done so not directed to those buds just basically stating but even some plants trichs could be different...there was just a thread about trichomes turning early ...I think it was 5 or 6 week was like 30%-40% amber already and you could see the bud had at least 5 or 6 weeks left
