Does the perfect plant exist?

Some people must think there is a perfect plant out there. How else can you explain the insanity of paying $500 for a pack of seeds or thousands of dollars for a clone?
In my opinion, there's got to be. Like I said, if I could put a better nose on my cut of lava cake, I would have it. Would I grow it exclusively? No.. but she wouldn't be going anywhere.

Or maybe the thrill of the chase. I'm guilty of that but with that being said, I am glad I do chase because it seems my garden is forever getting better. Culling those that don't make the cut or get replaced by something newer that checks more boxes. Keeping only the best of the better.

I get it and there is no right answer. I was just curious if anyone has ever found the perfect plant in their own opinion.

Don't let wazzup fool you. I have had many really good plants, and women for that matter. But I could find a flaw in each, where if that flaw could be eliminated, it might be prefect to me.
Perfection is a matter of perspective. My idea of perfection will differ from yours and others. My opinion is you're expecting too much.

This may be helpful to you, maybe not, but never expect and you'll never be disappointed

Thanks for your opinion. That is how I live my life and my life is full of unexpected blessing.

I don't expect anything out of a cut, but could note some improvements in certain areas even on good ones. Just hoping to find ONE that checks every box.

I don't see how there could be a perfect plant. I've grown too many different strains over the years to count some were good, some were great, some were not so good. None were ever perfect and never will be.

Answer this. If you did find what you thought to be the perfect plant are you just going to grow that exclusively forever? I mean you can't beat perfection can you? So if you do find this elusive "Perfect" plant is that all your going to grow? If it's perfect why would you grow anything else?

I'd rather grow lots of imperfect plants than grow one perfect plant over and over again.

People should just worry about growing healthy plants and leave perfection to their dreams.

I get it, but for me I feel like it would be a never ending pursuit. I just can't put that much energy into it.

Does my quote above answer your question?

I know text is without emotion but am I picking up a vibe? Maybe it was the "people should worry about"... Are you being an asshole or troll? Real question...

I grow healthy plants. Have for a while. Maybe the chase is what makes me better? Striving for perfection. Maybe..

I'm being myself. You can read into it what you want. Call me asshole or troll all day long. It means absolutely nothing. If you work at it hard enough maybe you can come up with the "Perfect" insult.

People should worry about growing healthy plants not some stupid quest for the "Perfect" plant.

Take it back to the "old school", cuz you're an old fool, who's so cool (it's "WHOOMP! There It Is "lyrics)

If I had to pick a "perfect" type of herb, gun to my balls, I'm going with either Durban Poison or Hindu Kush. Click back the hammer & make me pick only one, I'd say Durban.

Hindu Kush (a Seedsman auto freebie, specifically. Sourced from Sensi Seeds, more specifically) is still, to date the best overall effect I've had from smoking flower. Every bowl was as satiating as a snack. It was fucking amazing. I have every intention of growing it again, maybe even the auto but I'd like to try regs next time.

Durban Poison: i mean, what can I say that you probably don't already know about it. This shit is literally as perfect as weed can get IMO; the effect is never overwhelming but it stacks nicely if you're just trying to get stupid-baked, but just a rip or two will prime you for work, chores, creativity, whatever. The aroma and flavor are almost always in tandem; it doesn't smell different than it tastes like a lot of these candy-hybrids that smell like jellybeans but taste like boat gas fumes.

GO LANDRACE, or closer to it.

Interesting that you mention those 2 strains because I have been working on a cross for the last 3 years using Durban and Pakistani Chitral Kush which comes from the Hindu Kush region. I'll be pollinating an F6 female within a week and my IBL strain will be done.

I also have an Egyptian Sinai seed run going right now. That strain started flowering under 18/6 which leads me to believe it's a good candidate for using to make a quick flowering if not auto strain without using ruderalis genetics which completely suck.

I smoked a pineapple strain when I was 16 that gave me a high I have been chasing ever since. Perfect? I doubt it. But I'm popping some pineapple fields this year that I hope gets me close... when I am able to smoke again lol
