Some extra information regarding water...

They only guarantee the pH Perfect tech to work with RO water since they designed it specifically for that and RO water is pretty much the same no matter where it is or how it's obtained. That gives them a baseline they can build on and obtain predictable results. Tap water can vary so wildly depending on the source that to make a guarantee based on that would require them to test practically every water source in the world (or at least North America) and that's just not possible. So that's why they say RO water.

That said, it does work with most tap water too - they just can't guarantee it will because your municipal or well water might have something in it that throws everything out of whack. But the odds are that your tap water will work fine. From what I've read online, most do. But take that for what it's worth (not a hell of a lot) since I'm just some guy on the Internet who's going off what a bunch of other guys on the Internet have said. I tell everyone to try it and see if it works with your tap water. Mix up a few gallons, let it sit for awhile, and keep an eye on the pH periodically. If it doesn't do anything insane, try a full reservoir through your system with the plants and monitor the pH closely (like you'd have to with any other brand). If it still stays stable, then you're good. I did that and by the second reservoir I was checking the pH every couple days or so. By halfway through flower I'd stopped checking entirely and my yield was over my personal best by a good margin.

So yeah, pH Perfectly absolutely works, and it might work with your tap water if you don't have an RO system available. (Obviously if you can use RO, that's just gonna be the better option regardless of anything else.)
