Does the smell....

I've never grown before and I have a stoner question...

Is the smell of growing weed worst than the smell of smoking weed?

It depends alot on the strain that you are wanting to grow. Most of mine you can't really smell until you get right up on them...now skunk however is another thing

i'm growing a whole lot of other plants with my four weed sprouts to try to offset the smell a bit... i'm using basil and oregano, and some other fragrent plants. will this work at all?

you'll really have to play it by nose, mine first crop also didnt smell until you got up close to them, or until they were drying.
