Does this look good for a first grow?

Im going to be growing in a cabinet thats about 3.5' tall, 2.5' deep, and 2' wide.

I plan on having a very basic first grow with 3 plants. You all think they will be able to grow in that small of a space?

Also im planning on buying some cfl's from foodlion (Dont really have a ride atm to any other store). There 23 watts with 1,600 lumens at about $7 a bulb. Do you all think this would work and how many do you think I should get?

Im also planning on getting a small fan to use on the plants to try and make the stems stronger.

Do you all think this will suffice for a first grow? Thanks for all the help. I just wanna make sure this works before I started.

cool white is what you want for seedling/veg. eventually you'd want to get some warm whites (2700k) range for flowering.

When the plants are small one CFL per plant should be fine as long as you keep the lights about an inch about the tops. I think you'll probably need to add more lights as the plants get bigger...maybe a total of 6 to 8 27watt CFL's by the end.

You should read up on LST and / or FIM as you'll probably want some method to control the plants' height.

...other than that you'll need some good soil mixed with perlite, and some fertilizer to feed your plants

...and remeber the three biggest mistake most growers make:

1) over watering
2) over feeding
3) over watering and over feeding.

good luck!
