20161101_233232-1.jpg 1478071835878-54537795.jpg Mine does. He always poops one turd, then turns around and sniffs it while he poops the rest of his turds. Tried to take a pic of him doing it but he scampered off faster than my phones flash.

I've had some dogs with strange habits before.
1 would go around to all of the bushes/trees he could sniff, then pick the one with
the pointiest leaves, back up onto it and drop his load.

I have one dog now that likes to leave land mines all over the yard one log at a time.
He drops a log, looks around, then moves to another spot to drop another log. Repeating
these steps until he has completed his mission.o_O

Faster than your phone's flash? You have a dog that can approach light speed, be careful that he doesn't travel backward in time, likely disturbing our continuum. Your dog must be stopped for the good of mankind, we're counting on you to be strong and do the right thing...

That's seemingly incorrect from an observational standpoint. Most dogs turn their heads even when alone. Usually in the same direction

True. Although when eye contact is made the situation changes. From one of being
alone to one of being in a pack.

Wolf pack instinct.
