Thanks for all the support and positive comments.
Started a Headband I know to be Sativa dom and is the bomb! Shares some of the color traits of the G-13 so we can do some breeding. As strong a start the G-13s are off too I gotta tell ya I dont think this is going to a waste of time in the least.
Also started a Kannabia Special beings they are so crappy not even good enough for a freebie! LOL
And I know watching plants veg is boring. So here a couples of shots of a Bluecheese about 5 weeks flowering. Should give us some nice bud porn in the next few weeks.
Plus if the G-13s keep on as they are we will be taking clones in a couple of weeks!
1 gallon pot. Only been fed Big Bloom and today Hygrozyme added(I usually do this a couple of waterings midway thru flower to keep the rootball healthy) medium mix has carried it well.

Hell ya, give em all they want! The beans may not have brassballs but I do! LMAO Going to push them to the limit. Been awhile since I did a FF grow. I could have it right on the deck, like 8 inches or so. But that would be foolish! LOL About 18-20 inches. Gives em around 8000 lumen. As they grow closer I will raise the light and keep it at about 16 inches.

Very heady and uplifting. And its not a true Headband. Its beans from a friend in Oregon. He had a clone only true Headband mom he bred with a NL#5, then backcrossed a few times. Pretty stable and trustworthy.

I thought the Headband was clone only, at least thats what I read before. Now it makes sence.

And your not doing anything wrong. Just not doing everything right yet. LOL J/K One thing you and Dan need to get over is feeding them early. I know its common to hear, 'plants dont need fed for the first 3 weeks'. BS, the cots only carry them till the singles pop. Its true FFOF and others, MG, MG Organic ect... will feed for a few weeks. You still need to begin introducing your plants to the nutes you plant to use. Good feed/water/water habit is a good place to start. Then you get to where you feed/water/feed/water. You and your plants will learn together. Then feed/feed/feed. Watching your plants a feeding as they need. If they are using most of the nutes you are feeding then salt build up is not an issue. Just every 10 days or so give them a good "Rain" as Riddle would say and grow on. Watch the P as it does not leach from container plants like outdoors. And K is probaly the biggest cause of buildup and lockout in container plants. N is actually pretty easy to control. Feed em, read em and grow.................

you know the whole clone only is a gimmick right? You can easily make seeds out of a clone and non fems ones at that...

Not a gimmick. Fact. Special phenos are found from time too time. True 'Headband' is one of them. And yes you can force balls, collect and backbreed. But guess what? Odds are against finding an exact replica of the 'original' pheno.

well your “headband“ or any strain for that matter find yoir special pheno you want stick it outside and presto when its done flowering you have seeds because of the constant light change outside. I was saying non fem seeds btw. (it works with fem seeds as well.) i just want to point out that they dont hermie because of it, i still get males out of the seeds it produces. Unless this only works in central usa, you now have seeds yof your so called “clone only“ if that made more sense.

I have been growing outdoors for over 30 years and what you say is completely wrong, sorry. And plants that hermi and self pollenates seeds will be very prone to hermi themselves. Saying outdoor light cycles cause hermis is just foolish. Now take that same hermi pollen, if it happens, and use it on a different female. Fem seeds with less chance of hermi. A clone is a clone. An exact replica of the donor. With some genetic shift. Just like identical twins. One egg, one sperm. fertilized, splits and grow 2 different organisms. The same with subtle differences in the end. Basic middle school xy stuff in the end.
