Doll House Growing?

I just moved into a house that the owner built a lil house in the back that his lil girl could play in. well it seemed perfect for growing and i dont use it so...lol.... i turned it into a grow box...well, room.

Here's what I have done so far:

-Foil over windows and on ceiling above the lights.

- 2x 24" Shop Lights with 17Watt F17T8/GL Bulbs (1,093 Lumens and 7800 Kelvin)

- 1x 23Watt(100Watt Equivalent) Soft White Fluorescent Bulb (1.600 Lumens)

- 1x 10" Fan (on low o medium depending on the heat)

-The lil house is painted bright white inside.(It's quite bright in there)

-The Dimensions of the house are :
66"H x 51"L x 51"W
-My Pot dimensions are:
19"W x 17"H
-My Plant is approximatley 40"s from the Lights

My Plant is about 5"s tall from being just outside. I just transplanted it and put it in there. It was growing outside under natural daylight cycle. Now I have the lights on 24/7 because I'm not sure there is enough light in there. And I hand water it all day because I am out of work at the moment.

So, my question is, is there anything I might need to add, remove, adjust, etc.? I'd appreciate any advice and/or help. Thank you.

I will post some pictures of my setup as soon as my camera charges too aid in any help.

Get those lights as close as possible dude! Around 1-3 inches is a good rule. They don't get hot so you can put them really close! Looks pretty good though!!

Thanks. I thought I might have to do that. But other than that, do you think it'll work in there? I have to buy some more chain to hang the lights lower.
It's funny, cant tell that theres weed growing in there from the outside. lol looks like a big purple n white doll house. LMAO

sure it wil work in there as others said get lights closer
ive been growing with cfl lights for a long time now and they work good . but honestly it looks like you need more light in there but thats my opininion
get rid of the aluminum foil, thats a big no no , the foil can create a magnifying thing that can burn your plant
just keep the walls white with no foil
do you have nutrients for it , you will need them
also do you ph your water before you water it ??
also you only need to water when the top of the soil is completely dry or that will cause overwatering
also the soil you use, what is the ph of your soil , that is very important
also what kind of soil do you use

looks like it will work well but i'd get rid of the foil, it will up your temps and create "hot spots". get some mylar or panda film it reflects better and stays cool

Lower the light's you want then inces of the top of the plants not metres dude.

Yeah dude it will totally work and personally i would get some more cfl's in there like a couple 100 watters or somethin that are 6500k to help out with the light sitch. Paint the walls flat white like dude said also cause foil is no good dude

not bad for my first one then? lol im glad i can do something right. the walls are flat bright white. i figured id have to drop the lights but i gotta go buy some more chain. lol the soil is soil that was in a pot outside with nothing in it so i turned all the soil up and re-watered it and then transplanted it from my backyard to the pot. seems to working well. i dont have any nutrients for it yet. i have heard great things in my lots of research about using the water from boiling white rice. i heard it makes the plants grow crazy fast. so, im gonna try that and see. thanks for all the input. ill keep posting pics of my progress on this thread so keep checkin back.

hey everyone! well, here's what I did per all your advice.
I took down the foil and added another light maybe like 6 inches from the top of the plant, while still leaving the other 2 shop lights on. I dropped the 2 shop lights with SHOE STRINGS (LMAO). I saw it on another guys thread but he used them to hang his cover. so i did it with the lights! worked like a champ. i also moved everything around to make it easier for the setup of the electrical cords and such.
here are some pics of what i changed. im still open to anymore advice. thank you all!

oh ya! anyone tried the rice water as nutrients?

Here's an update on her growth. and a couple seedlings.

Foil is never a good idea. Use black paper or something. If you MUST use foil...make sure its shiny side is face outside. And yes...there is a shiny side. I would also hang some lined drapes in there. They are usually classified as winter drapes, and keep the sun out.

Also...aren't work lamps mostly holgen lights? I could be mistaken as I have never help a hammer in my life (hell...that is what husbands are for). But I think this is true. Halogen lights will not make your plant grow, it puts off the wrong UV.

Other than that...what a nice little set up you have.

closer, instead of bringing the lights to the plant bring the plant to the light, ive always had small indoor grows but never thought of using a Doll House... nice just get them lights closer mabey buy 1 or 2 of these in future, well worth the 20usd that 130 is the money you save in electricity compared to old bulbs not the price

HEY ALL! ill post some pics soon! i had to relocate my plant into my house because i am starting to smell it outside a lil. no bud yet, but the leaves definitley smell wonderfuL! i moved from the doll house to a harry potter closet. lol should have pics up today.
