I would say both the soil from the dollar store and the closed hot box are your problems, I would transplant to better soil but be careful I've heard your not supposed to mix certain types of soil, stay away from miracle grow. In my "studies" I've had the best results with fox farm ocean forest soil, it has all the nutes you need for the whole vegging period so all you have to add are flowering nutes when the time comes. The temp is a very very important thing to watch if its too hot the leaves will get little fins on the side in attempt to catch a breeze, so if you see this happening cut a small hole in your box and have a little fan blowing in, an exhaust hole would be ideal as well, and remember they need plenty of fresh air.

Definately transplant, I can't imagine what they put in that bag and call dirt..
