Dollar Store Timer?

I'm really tight on budget so I was only able to get a cheap mechanical timer from the dollar store. Do you think it would be possible for me to connect my 400 watt HPS to this?

what's the amp rating? I bought a cheap one kinda like that to run my 8" inline, but i've been to nervous to use it, and the fan is only 2 amps. Your lights are probably around 4 amps. If Iam5toned is around, he would be the one to ask.

Just look at your amp load on back of timer. Hope she doesn't crap out on you.

be careful ... read the voltage rating closely ... some of the really cheap ones wont handle that kind of load . Saving a few bucks on your grow isnt worth burning your house down for .... just sayin ....
