So I need call mag and flavor. Since dolomite lime won't dissolve in h2o (?) Will it dissolve in lemons giving me an awesome orgo flowering nute? What do you think?
It might, or maybe it will taste like lemonScratch the lemon. Your plant will probably wilt.
haha i like that, restroom please! haha or to look at the ingredients in bottles so you can make your own.!@fridayfishfry I doubt you need call Mg, and that sounds like a great way to really screw up your plants. Read at least the first few pages of the Recycled Organic Living Soil thread, the only thing you should be asking the clerk at the hydrostore is where the restroom is.
P-
i mean there are tea recipes that specigically call for lime and gypsum powder to be added. look at organic feeding 101 by Mr. Nick stickied at top, and AACT teas from outdoor growers they are both really good.@Pattahabi hey thanks I always thought the hydro store guys were pushing the petrol a little hard. Yes CALcium and magnesiu
hm are important nutrients from what I've read. I'm thinking I would get calcium citrate and magnesium citrate from this mixture. They're both sold as dietary supplements. Meaning if you can eat it you can smoke it duh. Sugar and similar things make buds taste great.
I wanted to see if someone knows about my idea from experience.
I'll be looking at the orgo thread it looks like a good read thanks again patta
OK @SpicySativa this was my thinking. I'm trying to add more cal mag with dolomite without re-potting. I'm going to try it !
Matt Rize has a thread on here about using Citric Acid and how real good organic growers do use it.It might, or maybe it will taste like lemon
I will try anyway
What about that citrus sweetener stuff? How's that work?
Yes he is right, even Matt Rize says the juice/real citric acid NOT ascorbic acid, is used for. PH Down.nothing is going to change the flavor of your plants but the plants them selves....and the lemon juice will fry your plants bad..its a PH of about 3....sugars will not be taken in by plants..it just feeds the soil....some carbos will be taken in since they are a small molecule...but sugar wont...even molasses just feeds soil...except for the minerals in molasses...they can be absorbed...
