Dolomite

Okay so i just went and bought a bag of happy farm and a box of Dolomite lime. Heres the problom so i bought GrowMore Dolomight lime but its in small salt lookin grains small baby rocks well there hard to grind up into powder i tryed useing a can and smashing it into powder but way to slow days!! I dont have a coffe grinder i dont drink coffe. so would i be able to mix these dolomite pebels in to the happy frog soil and how much?

If its just dolomite lime then when its wet it will break down just mix it in.

well i put 3 small hand fulls into 1.5cf of happy frog and watered the soil down just a little and put it in a rubbermaid binlet it sit till i use it next week! think ill be okay??

Should be ok. If they were really small handfuls, you might want to add a couple more.

It's hard to over apply lime, but you can certainly under apply it. You did exactly the right thing by wetting it down. It doesn't do anything until water is added.

So about a measuring cups worth you think i added about half a cup so ill add about 1/4 cup more thanks Wetdog!!
