Trump claims he’s under ‘total assault’ because of his lead in the polls
Former President Trump claimed on Friday that he is under “total assault” because of his lead in the polls among current and potential GOP presidential candidates.

“[We’re under] total assault because we’re winning in the polls,” Trump told his former advisor Steve Bannon during an interview on “War Room.”

Trump also took aim at Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R), who is widely considered his biggest competition for the 2024 Republican nomination, despite having yet to officially join the race.

“DeSanctis is failing badly,” Trump said, in a reference to his nickname for the Florida governor, “Ron DeSanctimonious.”
“It’s amazing what being 40 down does,” he later added.

Trump has slightly expanded his lead over DeSantis in recent weeks, sitting about 27 points ahead as of Thursday, according to a polling average from FiveThirtyEight. An Emerson College poll conducted earlier this week showed the former president with a 45-point lead over DeSantis.

“The donors are largely leaving him now,” Trump claimed, adding, “What’s happening is the donors are calling me now because the donors follow the polls.”

While several reports emerged this week that DeSantis was considering a May or June launch for his campaign, he said on Thursday that no decisions have been made about a potential announcement.

“If there’s any announcements, those will come at the appropriate time,” DeSantis said at a press conference in Israel. “But if anyone’s telling you that somehow they know this or they know that, that’s just inaccurate because there’s not been any decisions made.”
The donors are calling him now, to tell him they're still not giving a crooked fuck like him their money.

Trump says he’ll bring back Michael Flynn if he wins in 2024: ‘He’s some man’
Former President Trump has said he’ll bring back his former national security adviser Michael Flynn if he wins another four years in the White House in 2024.

“I will say, General Flynn, he’s some general. He’s some man. He took abuse like nobody could have handled, and he came out bigger, better, stronger than ever before,” Trump said via phone to the “ReAwaken America” rally at Trump National Doral Miami, according to a Rolling Stone report.

“He’s a leader, and you just stay wealthy and healthy and well, and everything. I want you to have great lives and, General, you just have to stay healthy because we’re bringing you back. We’re gonna bring you back,” the former president said.

Flynn, whom Trump fired early in his administration, pleaded guilty in 2017 to lying to the FBI about speaking with the Russian ambassador, though he later withdrew the plea.

He’s been surrounded by other controversies related to the 2020 transfer of power and prior dealings with foreign entities, and has been tied to QAnon and backed Trump’s claims of widespread election fraud. He was pardoned by Trump as the former president left office.
Trump, who lost his 2020 reelection bid, is running to reclaim the White House in 2024.

I'm not sure about Michael Flynn but his brother Charlie is a hell of a man.

We will not hold that against you.

Former Trump adviser Michael Flynn ‘at the center’ of new movement based on conspiracies and Christian nationalism
The crowd swayed on its feet, arms pumping, the beat of Twisted Sister’s “We’re Not Gonna Take It” thumping in their chests. The people under the revival tent hooted as Michael Flynn strode across the stage, bopping and laughing, singing the refrain into his microphone and encouraging the audience to sing along to the transgressive rock anthem.

“We’ll fight the powers that be just/Don’t pick our destiny ’cause/You don’t know us, you don’t belong!”

The emcee introduced him as “America’s General,” but to those in the audience, Flynn is far more than that: martyr, hero, leader, patriot, warrior.

The retired lieutenant general, former national security adviser, onetime anti-terrorism fighter, is now focused on his next task: building a movement centered on Christian nationalist ideas, where Christianity is at the center of American life and institutions.

Flynn brought his fight — a struggle he calls both spiritual and political — last month to a church in Batavia, New York, where thousands of people paid anywhere from a few dollars to up to $500 to hear and absorb his message that the United States is facing an existential threat, and that to save the nation, his supporters must act.

Flynn, 63, has used public appearances to energize voters, along with political endorsements to build alliances and a network of nonprofit groups — one of which has projected spending $50 million — to advance the movement, an investigation by The Associated Press and the PBS series “Frontline” has found. He has drawn together election deniers, mask and vaccine opponents, insurrectionists, Proud Boys, and elected officials and leaders in state and local Republican parties. Along the way, the AP and “Frontline” documented, Flynn and his companies have earned hundreds of thousands of dollars for his efforts...

They left out the part where he betrayed his country on Jan 6.

The Army is now acknowledging that Lt. Gen. Charles Flynn, the brother of President Donald Trump’s former national security adviser Michael Flynn, was in the room for one of the key January 6 phone calls in which DC government and US Capitol Police were asking for National Guard troops to quell the unfolding violence at the US Capitol.

The decision-making has come under scrutiny as city and Capitol Police officials have alleged that the Pentagon was slow to respond, while the Pentagon and Army maintain they never denied or delayed requests for the National Guard.

In official timelines released by the Department of Defense in the wake of the riot, Charles Flynn, the deputy chief of staff of the Army, was not listed as participating in any of the calls that day about mobilizing the National Guard to respond to the riot.

The Washington Post was the first to report Flynn’s participation in the call.

“I entered the room after the call began and departed prior to the call ending, as I believed a decision was imminent from (then-Army Secretary Ryan McCarthy) and I needed to be in my office to assist in executing the decision,” Flynn said in a statement released to CNN. There was no clear answer about how long Flynn was on the call or whether he contributed to the conversation.

The Washington Post reports that the Army “falsely denied for days that Lt. Gen. Charles A. Flynn” was involved in the key meetings. One of the officials who was on the call told CNN in the days following the insurrection at the Capitol that Flynn was not on the calls, but the military did not confirm his participation until Wednesday.

You are not sure about a man that a federal judge called a traitor from the bench and was gonna throw the book at before Trump pardoned him. A man who was involved in the organizing the J6 treason and is probably facing a seditious conspiracy charge. Apparently, you have an issue telling right from wrong. His brother Charlie was apparently involved in impeding the response to the J6 insurrection at the capitol that is currently being investigated. Michael Fynn is a traitor and a DC federal judge who was about to sentence him said so from the bench!
