I think Trump is missing the boat here, he should be selling Trump branded riot shields, helmets, truncheons and body armor to his suckers. Donald should have a catalog complete with survival rations and equipment to survive the "storm", he could even sell guns and ammo. Sociopaths often lack imagination and poor Donald with his IQ of 82 is devoid of abstract thinking or imagination. He does have plenty of smart sycophants surrounding him offering suggestions and ideas though.

I think the iQ in the 70s is false. I read it's in the 110-120 range, which is still fucking feeble for a supposed master-class operator.

I think he is gravely deficient in certain key areas of intellectual and emotional development. Our overall intelligence is made up of many micro abilities, Donald has a talent for low cunning and manipulation and almost no ability to process information or learn in most other areas. I think if you ever sat him down for an IQ test (they might when he's in prison) assuming he would cooperate and he would not, you'd find him highly deficient in many intellectual areas. He has a profound ignorance of the most basic of subjects, even while in attendance. His bleach and UV light fiasco came after a 10 minute lecture on disinfectants given while he was in the background at the news conference.

I still remember the incredibly hard to describe feelings the first time I saw her live when she was announced as VP out of nowhere.


I was thinking to myself around 10:40pm est (13 minutes into the speech) that the Democrats might just be screwed because she was amazing.

Then it got scary at about 15 minutes. Then terrifying about 16:20 (10:45 pm est whatever night that was when I first saw the racist/evangelical attack that I was seeing online make it to the presidential election.


Wow re-watching this speech she sums up the election in the first couple sentences with her description of McCain saying something about 'rather losing an election than losing a war'. And he held the line on the racism that was being stoked after 9/11 (which she plugs in brilliantly at about 7:10) that is the war that we are still fighting today. He bought us 8 years.

Once the fucker is inside a cell he won't get out, the hits will keep coming. Remember there is no way he can be pardoned in a NY state prison, if he were doing federal time for his crime it would be another matter. Donald would be one election away from getting sprung federally and you wouldn't want "free Donald" to be a causes célèbre for America's morons and get them excited. Trump, House committee to appeal judge's order to hand over some tax records
Former President Trump and the House Oversight Committee are both appealing a judge's decision this week ordering his accounting firm to turn over some of his personal and corporate financial records to House Democrats, lawyers said in court filings Thursday.

The move comes just a day after U.S. District Court Judge Amit Mehta delivered a partial victory for the House Oversight Committee, which has been fighting in court for two years to enforce a subpoena for the former president's financial and tax information.

Mehta, who was appointed by former President Obama, threw out much of the committee's subpoena on the grounds that it posed constitutional concerns but ordered the accounting firm Mazars to turn over records related to the lawmakers' investigation into Trump's lease with the federal government for the property housing his D.C. hotel.

"The more Congress can invade the personal sphere of a former President, the greater the leverage Congress would have on a sitting President," Mehta wrote in his decision.

It's not yet clear what aspects of the decision Trump's legal team and attorneys for the House intend to challenge.

Rep. Carolyn Maloney (D-N.Y.), the chair of the House Oversight Committee, said of the decision Wednesday that she appreciated that the court recognized the importance of the investigation into "opaque financial dealings."

"I am pleased that the Court found that the Committee is entitled to eight years of financial information from Mazars related to President Trump, the Trump Organization, and the Trump Old Post Office Hotel, as well as a broader set of information from the first two years of Mr. Trump’s presidency," Maloney said in a statement. "While it is disappointing that the Court, despite finding that the entire subpoena served valid legislative purposes, narrowed the subpoena in some respects, the Committee is actively considering next steps."
