I planted the seed in the soil on April 3rd after germination and it grew but now it's not seeming like it's growing. I think I may have lightstreched it. What type of wattage bulb do we need? We have a plant bulb 50 watts. Need
Help

Lower the light some. What kind of bulb is it? Do you have a fan to blow off the heat from the light radiating on to the plant?

12"-18" is an average range from the light source.

Yes it is 8.5 inch away from the plant. The light bulb is a plant 50watts 120volts. Yes there is a fan on. How many hours of light a day does it need

Holy crap, that's some stretch. Bring that bulb down. We all learn....Is that bulb a cfl?

You have wasted alot of energy on that unnecessary stretch lol you want your nodes tight together not in different zip codes lol. if its CFL lower your light as close as possible and watch for signs of heat stress/burn, if they begin to stretch then go even closer.
Keep lights on 24/0 or at very least 18/6.

I'd bury that stem all the way up to the cotyledon leaves

I would get a Mcdonalds straw, cut a slit all the way down the straw and wrap the straw around the stem, also get a real light.
