Trimming after the plant has dried. oh man it was so much harder
to trim. and made my nugs look way less aesthetically pleasing. :(

I let them dry all the way, the leaves stuck hell of bad to the nugs.

If I need a few extra days of hanging. I leave all but the fan leaves. I leave for a week for work. But it is a pain and the cutters gum up so much faster. I like wet trimming but there are times I don't have choice.

yeah trimming before hanging is alot better then trimming after it all drys. all the leaves stick to the bud like a mothafucka. even tho ive only havested one plant before i am forsure going to trim before hanging in the future

I agree fellas.
I think the trichomes have a better connection to the plant while it is still fresh. When it dries, the glandular stalks snap off like glass.

Trimming wet is just 1000x easier, that's all. And you don't lose nearly as much crystal. Live and learn my friend!

I like to trim the buds before I even chop the plant...I sit down in front of it and just keep turning the pot til I have it all trimmed and then I cut the buds off to dry. I have only tried not trimming before hanging once...and it was awful...and a mess, and harder to tell what to trim and what not to. Much easier when the plant is wet...I just don't like hacking it all apart and then trimming each individual piece...I end up running out of anywhere to put the already trimmed parts...so I leave them all on the plant now. I like it much better...and if I need to get up and do soemthing else i can...and if I need to tak ea few hour break...no issues there either...it isn't going to dry out or something while I am doing whatever else i am doing...and it looks funny when you have a whole plant in a pot all trimmed to nothing but nugs...lol

ya easiest way to get rid of that grassy taste during curing is to never get it by trimming first!!! i think we all learned that the hard way, my first time i trimmed dry and wound up cutting allllll the leaves out of the bud then wondered why my buds didnt look like normal pot lmao
