I'll start flushing in approximately 2 weeks, I'll be looking through the microscope at the trichomes to make sure it's around peak harvest time. Here's some lovely pics of the Critical + Automatic

White Widow
Whew been a little while since I've updated; had my hands quite full lately. The White Widow is still going strong, I'm giving it a brief dark period today starting last night. Examined the trichomes under a microscope at 100x setting and noticed that the majority are cloudy with my ratio being like 3:20:1 (clear:cloudy:amber) It's ready to harvest, I just read on Dinafems site that the White Widow would benefit from a dark period before harvest so I'm integrating that in my approach.
Critical + Automatic
The smoke was great, tasted of a fresh, earthy, aromatic flavor. Very distinctive in relation to other strains in the area. It was harvested a bit sooner than I would have liked so the high is cerebral, with almost no body high. It definitely has some indica genetics because it has put me to sleep on many occasions. It was potent even with the mistakes I made and was had vigorous growth in comparison to the White Widow that was started on the day before. I can only imagine what this strain will be like in the hands of an experienced grower. I do feel like I did the strain an injustice even though it's my first grow and would consider it to be moderately successful given my nonexistent botany track record.

Sooo I'm back! I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I will be starting a thread appropriately labeled Dontcough's 2nd Hydro Grow soon, I have ordered the seeds and will update with new information. DWC 2.0 with a climate controlled closet, so fans will still apply but the temperature fluctuations won't be to the extent that I previously had. I'm excited
