Door/Flap In Panda Film = Zipper,Velcro Or What?

Whats the best/cheapest thing for a making a door/flap in panda film? Post links to the items if you can please. I know how to make the door/flap, im just looking for the best and cheapest way to do it. The cheapest I can find those tarp zipper doors are around 20.00 shipped each.. Im looking for a cheaper zipper door or options..

i made a roll up door fixed at the top. and the sides with velcro and a weight bar on the bottom which also makes easy to roll up and fix open with a bungi cord. cheap easy and works.

In a video made by Greenam called "I Grow Chronic" that is how he made his flowering room "door." It rolled up and was held up with bungie cords when opened and when closed was sealed along the edges with a series of Velcro strips.

Something as simple as an old broom handle or handles cut to length or a half-thick dowel rod cut to length will work well for a bottom weight and also to keep the plastic spread for ease of rolling up evenly and also to keep it spread and even for easy Velcro sealing when closing.

i use velcro,its been good for 2 years so far.

i built a frame from wood, i think it was 1x3 but the 1inch seems thick,.. maybe i used wod strapping but whatever... anyways i put vapor barrier on it then black garbage bags then white shower curtines... then i put velcro on the inside on the wood part with a stapler of my new door and on the outside of the frame it sticks to... at home depot, lowes, rona or places like that, velcro is very expensive... go to a fabric outlet like fabricland and ull get twice as much for 1/2 the price then would at hose other stores .. it works great, sure it doesnt seal it but the air going out of ur exghaus twill pull the air threw then unsealed parts rather then leak air out from ur tent/room

so velcro is or isnt light proof? I seen this .. Would this work? .. remember, the room only has to be as dark as it gets outside with a moon in the sky. what you don't want is direct light seeping in to your plants.

I used the tarp zippers in my room and I have been trying to figure out the best way to fix the light leaks. I am really considering going to a velcro overlap closure to eliminate them all together. Having something heavy at the bottom like a dowl rod or broom handle definitely helps when rolling it up!

I have 2 zippers and no light leaks at all. Velcro works OK too. You just gotta think if your in there a lot you want something you can close yourself in with Velcro yes but you can get out if in rolls down.

I just put up my door for my flower room today but ran out of staples going to also get some velcro I keep the bottom pulled out so the exhaust fan sucks in air from the room but going to still seal it up, my veg room I'll make door but not sure if I'll use it View attachment 2378268
