double harvest?

I am getting close to harvest. I have two variaties. Freedom 35. ready to flush and Iranian 13. At 45 days 12-12. The grow has developed an upper canopy of nice buds. But under the canopy is a lot of very nice not so developed buddage. nice stuff. My question is. If I cut the buds that cover and open up the inner buds, will the inner buds develope further and gain weight or just lay there and over ripen... Or is there something I havent considered. 1 is the freedom 35 2 &4 are outer buds 3&5 looking at inner growth. any comments on when to chop?

If the upper buds are ripe and the lower buds are behind in maturity you can cut the top and get some additional weight from the lower buds if you let them go another week or so. If the lower part of the plant is getting quite a bit of light and the lower buds are ripening right along with the top colas you need to harvest the whole plant. Leaving the lowers will just let them get overmature and lose potency.

Just my opinion and experience.

those buds dont look ready,to many white hairs and only 45 days,thats not enough time for any plant unless its an auto,imo i wouldnt cut any thing yet,just add some small cfl lights at the bottom,thats y do and works great,good luck bud

DUDE dont even think about cutting those they are way to young you need to let them go 60 days atlest ,but just saying you will do as you please anyway, but you realy should get the best from your own grown weed good luck.

thanks for the reply guys. I am trying to get a cam that can take a better pic up close, will post more pics soon. The first pic is "freedom 35's." They're from Dr Greenthumb and advertised to be done in 45 days. As you pointed out there is alot of white hairs to be seen. Also new bud is pushing up from the middle of the white hair. I think it is a result of lots of co2.. they keep putting out new growth. I will try to get better pics asap. In the meantime any and all comments or advice or observations are welcome. And the the top colas at will always be bigger and more filled out. This is a result of hormones and apical dominance not so much of light. If you cut the tops, you redistribute the hormones to the lower buds. The lower buds will fill out more as they mature.

His advertisement is false, no way are those done.
Look like they have another 3-4 wks. before those are done.
