doubling up pc fans?

hi everyone i need to know if i use two pc fans together will they move double the air or is better to have them positioned seperatly?

Doubling any fans up will not increase CFM. There is exceptions to this but only in high hp applications.

You mean one fan mounted directly infront of the other?

No this will not work .

Side by side is better.

BUT what are you using PC fans to cool?

They generally will not work when using HPS, but i successfully use them in a CFL mother box!
