I plan on using Dr. Earth dry nutrients for an organic grow outside this summer. I started everything in solo cups, then 1 gallon pot and now they’re in 5 gallon pots consisting foxfarm ocean Forest and Dr. Earth dry nutrients. I know Ocean Forest will take me to roughly week three. I’m wondering when the best time to add Dr. Earth to the soil would be. Do I mix into the soil when transplanting? Or do I wait around two weeks and then top dress? I’m using Dr. Earth homegrown and premium gold all purpose, and flower girl . I’m holding off on flower girl till close to flowering. Anyone have experience with Dr. Earth in Ocean Forest? They’re going into 5 gallon fabric pots and then being transplanted to 10 gallon pots..

5 gallons of Fox Farm should power your plant longer than 3 weeks.

Dr. Earth can be added to top soil and scratched into it - then watered.

Either Premium or Homegrown can be used up to at least 2 weeks after Flip to 12/12. It will need the extra nitrogen to finish the stretch phase.

After stretching has slowed or stopped , then you can introduce Flower Girl since plant has moved on to actual flowering.

Or ….. topdress more FOX FARMS at intervals to renew the nutrients that the plant has consumed from the host soil. Think of it as recharging the container soil ….
