So for starters I'll explain my equipment situation.
Germination until sprout.
1 - Shop light w 48' 32 watt bulbs. In 8ft x 4ft tent
Sprout until three weeks of veg
2 - 125 watt cfls in 8ft x 4ft tent
they are actual 125 watt bulbs they are 17' long and sit in the reflector horizontal they use 125 watts when being powered
(I then purchased 2 - 250watt cfl bulbs
same on the 250 watt bulbs they are around 19" long and sit horizontal in the reflector and use 250 watts of power)
Three weeks - Five weeks of veg
2 - 125 watt cfls
2 - 250 watt cfls
8ftx 4ft tent
1 gal pots
In between week three and five I purchased a 1000 watt hps and metal halide bulb, ballast and reflector.
The next two months I would veg my plants from seed n also flower the auto flower plants at the same time since they did not need a dark period I would run the lights 24/7 and still get to flower and veg at the same time so I could still have residual harvests.
Week Five to Month Three of Veg (Third month was the last month of veg)
2 - 125 watt cfls
2 - 250 watt cfls
1 - 1000 watt cfl
moved into 5 gal pots
The profit I would make from the auto flower plants I would use for equipment for the plants that I have in flower now. I harvested over 8 ozs from three auto flower plants and about 10 clones I took off the three auto flower plants. I will post pictures of the grow from the beginning to the point I am at now which is week 4 of flowering. But from the profit I would purchase 3 more 1000 watt hps bulbs, ballast and air cooled hoods. Also I would get a new 6" inline fan for the air cooled hoods and a new 8ft x 8ft tent..
Seeds That I grew!!
Auto Flower Seeds -
Auto Flower Blue Mammoth 60-70 days harvested from seed 3 ozs 15 grams
Vertigo Auto Flower - 65 days harvested from seed 3 ozs 4 grams
Lemon Auto Flower -55-60 days harvested from seed 2 ozs 5 grams
total of around 9 ozs.. profit then went into all grow equipment and new seeds for my next grow.
Feminized Seeds that I Vegged while growing the auto flower plants.
Feminized-
Brainstorm - vegged in 1 gal pot until a month old then transferred into 5 gal pots... around two months old I would then transferred again into ten gal pots. At around a month and a half I would pull 10 clones off this mother and put into 1 gal pots.
Vanilla Kush -vegged in 1 gal pot until a month old then transferred into 5 gal pots... around two months old I would then transferred again into ten gal pots. At around a month and a half I would pull 10 clones off this mother and put into 1 gal pots.
Liberty Haze -vegged in 1 gal pot until a month old then transferred into 5 gal pots... around two months old I would then transferred again into ten gal pots. At two and a half months I would pull 10 off this mother too. They also went into 1 gal pots..
Clones:
Out of the 36 clones 28 would go on to make it....
The brainstorm and vanilla kush clones I transferred into 5 gal pots around a month and a half old right before all of them went into flowering...
The liberty haze I would delay there flowering for two weeks so I would have one giant harvest at once... They will end up staying in the 1 gal pots until harvest.
So my CURRENT set up is :
They are in a 8ft x 8ft ten.
2 - 1000 watt hps bulbs
2 - 1000 watt dual arc bulbs hps n metal halide
2 - 250 watt cfls for under growth
2 - 125 watt cfls for under growth
4 - air cooled hoods with 6" inline fan cooling the bulbs
2 - 16" osculating fans
1 - 6" blowing air into duct work that connects to the osculating fans from outside for fresh air.
2 - co2 bag kits. (good for around 3 months of use)
Plants CURRENTLY IN TENT AND IN FLOWER
Total of 31 plants currently in harvest.
1 mother plant of Brainstorm and all 10 of her clones survived.
Brainstorm mother plant is in a ten gal pot that is fox farm ocean forest, fox farm happy frog, and fox farm original mix. 10 clones are in five gal pots and same soil mix
1 Vanilla Kush Mother and 9 Clones off her.
Vanilla Kush mother is in ten gal smart pot and 9 are in five gal pots. Same soil mix on all plants and pots
1 Liberty Haze Mother and 8 clones off her.
Liberty Haze mother is in a ten gallon pot and the 8 clones are the ones I delayed on flowering so these clones would stay in gallon pots each.
I feed the plants with fox farm nutrients and go by the scheduled feeding except during veg because of the soils and how I mix them you shouldn't need to be feed nutrients during that time. The mothers get around two gallons in the ten gallon pots of water twice in a week and a half and the clones in five gals get a gallon the same time and the clones in the one gallon get four cups of water at the same time.
