Dr. Greenthumb Bubba Kush S1 / GHS Lemon Skunk Dr. Earth/Roots Organics

Hello Everyone!

I am attempting my first proper grow journal and am really stoked. The strains will be Dr. Greenthumb Bubba Kush S1 and Greenhouse Lemon Skunk. The Bubba's are from seed while the Lemon Skunk is a re-veg of a plant grown from seed.

The Veg setup:

Bubbas and the Lemon Mom are under a Digital 400 and the clones are under T5's. Temps run mid 70's. The Flower room has 2 1k's.

The medium is as follows:

1 Bail Promix Bx
30lbs Worm Castings
5 lbs Dr. Earth 4-4-4
4 cups powdered Lime
2 Cups Azomite
10% chunky perlite

Mix well then water with 10 gallons of Roots organics Buddah Bloom, Buddah Grow and Trinity @5ml p/gal each. Let it cook for 60 days. I remix it really good after two weeks then just turn it over every so often. Mix works great for seedlings and clones.

I germinated the 5 Bubba seeds and am somewhat disappointed that only two popped. I did contact the Doc and he said just send them back and he would replace them so that's all good!!! Here are the early pics.

Cool...i've wanted to see the Bubba grown out.
Too bad about the germ rate but very cool you get replacements.

How was your GHS lemon skunks smoke?

I really like the lemon skunk. Just covered in trich's and smell straight citrus. Potent too!!

You have to send him the seeds that didn't germ back to him?

Yep. To be honest I'm kinda pissed about the germ rate. Less than 50% germination rate is unacceptable when you drop $200 for six seeds but I do understand why he requested that I return them. I will say this though, he told me when I ordered that he "wasn't sure if they had the BK in stock and would call me back if there was a problem. Maybe it was old stock or ???? I was told that each seedling would be good representation of the mother but at this point he seedlings look quite different so I don't know.

I always find a couple plants in the mix that dont exactly look like the mother but the majority of them do...so dont worry, im sure you will find a good keeper.
