The "other" Dr. Greenthumb is now behind Humbolt Seeds Organization who used to trade out of England, not Colorado or Cali and yes, you get seeds from HSO but in the case of Bubba, OG and Chemdawg, not real deal Bubba, OG or Chemdawg; at best they're crosses IMO.
I travel a lot to LA on business and had smoked Bubba and OG there in about 2001 but could not take a clone home. When Dr. Greenthumb (Canada) came out with the seeds in about 2002 I jumped on it and when harvested, they were happily the same as the original I smoked in LA and that's also true of Bubba kush and Chemdawg. In the past few years I have also smoked examples of "OG" and "Bubba" from Humbolt Seeds Organization and they are definiitley not Bubba or OG or Chemdawg #4, though they probably contain Bubba, OG and Chemdawg genes.

The other "Fake" doctor greenthumb has had the name since the 90's when they made a song with the name. Seriously does no one fucking remember the god damn song? it was huge and on mTV 5 times a day. How is he fake when it's Cypress hill's name and Kief is part of cypress hill. I linked the guys website says he's from LA, sorry I'll take his word for where he lives over yours lol.

if I seem annoyed it's because I've explained this about 15 times on here. Dr.Greenthumb from Canada bit on Cypress hills shit, probably because he thought it was cool, if anyone's fake it's him. He may have the better genetics that I won't dispute as I haven't grown his gear so I can't make a statement. But can we knock off this fake shit towards HSO? They are paying the people who came up with the name to use it, not stealing it like some Canadian.

#1 reason why he's probably not based in CO. His genetics can't leave the state if he wants to be legal anyways, and why else would anyone be in Colorado other then to be legal when they are from LA. The Genetics are better in LA people seem to agree on that. Since he's selling them under a companies name I doubt he'd do this, they would catch him pretty damn quick.


Edit : Dr. Greenthumb is a 1998 single by Cypress Hill. The song is about B-Real telling a story about his alter-ego Dr. Greenthumb, a cannabis/marijuana grower. A music video was also released. The name "Dr. Greenthumb" was later used in Tell Me When to Go by E-40. The name Dr. Greenthumb dates back to the 1970s cartoon "Josie and the Pussycats," where the name referred to a villain who ruled "creature plants." It is unclear if this title was lifted by Cypress Hill. (source Wikipedia)

Uh, Dr Greenthumb in Canada has been around years before that. They became a registerd tax paying business in 1996 but were selling seeds underground years before that and who gives a shit, the point is, the Dr. Greenthumb in Colorado is selling OG that is not OG, Bubba that is not Bubba, Chemdawg that is not Chemdawg and as a grower i want to know that when I buy something and risk my ass growing it for 4 months it IS what it is supposed to be.

HSO has 2 strains with the Greenthumb name, 2, not their whole catalogue. If your boy bought OG Kush with his name on it it's fake.

No proof? then don't spread misinformation from a third party. If it didn't come in a pack like the picture on their site it's not from them

No no, i mean HSO breeder packs which are made of wood, This guy is claiming he got OG Kush that wasn't OG Kush with dr,greenthumbs name on it from HSO. When there is no way in hell he did. I want pics of HSO's packs which are easily identifiable and have lazer etched wood lettering. I'll snap a pick of my EmDog pack

Especially from a guy local to Colorado when HSO's Dr.Green is from LA.

Unmistakable packaging, you can see where I had to break the damn thing to get it open, took a hammer and a chisel to it so I didn't smash the vile that was contained within.

ok i used to judge plants in veg and early flower. i stopped when i had this one plant just totally tear shit up in last 3 weeks of life. im def curious as to how your g13 seeds finish out their life

let me see if i have this right. you sell seeds and presume to do strain reviews. you started 10 cindy99 and 10 g13 and got 20 sprouts within 24 hours. you say the cindy 99 is doing great but your not too impressed with the g13. based on what? 2-3 weeks of vegetative growth? really? or did you mess them up? maybe the seeds are fine and you just need a bit more experience before presuming to write reviews. Gad! the kids these days.

Yes, we sell seeds. Does that mean we can't do reviews and journals of other breeders? We are human and we like to enjoy and try new strains.

based on how vigorous the plant is, doesn't matter if its 2 weeks in veg or 5 weeks in veg. we said so far we are not impressed, that does not mean we will always not be impressed by it. Nothing is written in stone.

If we messed them up, doesn't it mean we would've messed up the C99 as well? I also said maybe something went wrong in between when I did the G13 so i'm going to pop some more G13 to rule out that factor. Keep in mind I said "maybe" i'm not pointing fingers and saying it IS bad seeds.

Im with KRKsfriend. Your fairly new here and supposed to be a seedbank and your looking to be credible and trustworthy but you look sketchy and I worry your a scammer. You come on here guns blazing saying your going to do this and going to do that. You said you were going to do updates. Remember? but you didn't. You popped all these seed, said you had 100% germ rates but there was a problem with one like it was the seeds fault insted of showing us a photo. If it pops it pops, so not only do i find you sketchy but amateurish too and wouldnt buy from you

i have used his genetics for a LONG time and not been disappointed
i will also say that all the "iranian" crosses to og,chemdawg,cheese, ecsd, c99, g13 etc
are excellent indoors as well…
[and out doors it was a wonderful season despite the crap weather though i would be happy if we got a normal summer]
