Nitrogen def, yellow leaves, purple stems, dropping leaves starting at the bottom, you dropped your grow nutes too soon and it wants some nitrogen, switch back to grow nutes for a week. There is no brown spots so it isnt a cal def and mag def starts on the edges and works its way in, nitrogen def starts at the bottom, leaves go from green to yellow and drop, like yours are. Dont start bloom nutes so early next time and ul be good.

So u got about 5 different answers here. I'm using General hydroponics flora gro.flora micro and flora blood, at half strength to one gal. Along with 4ml big bud and 3ml of cal mag, and I've flushed since I did that. I need to water today do I give them nutes or just ph'd water?

If u just give em water again it will just get worse. Google nitrogen defficiency symptoms, its what you have, red stems with leaves fading from a healthy green to yellow and dropping at the bottom of the plant and working its way up. Google it and then switch back to your grow mix to fix it. It will green right back up

And I see no reason for giving cal/mag every time, if you start getting copper spotting on ur leaves or yellowing that starts on the leaf edge and works its way in, then give em cal/mag.

Keep following the recommended strength on the products you are using. They aren't perfect but if you keep using them your results will be ok. You have just learned how quickly "flushing" can wreck your plants. The others won't be far behind. Every year I meet growers who think yellow leaves at the end are normal because the plant is dying. Well no shit... if you starve it, it will die. The 16 essential nutrients are called essential because the plant cannot finish its life cycle without all of them, anything else is merely beneficial.
here read this if you have a few minutes

I use it all the way through as well. I don't really run into these problems in organic soil too often. When I do a little sea bird guano does the trick.

Yea I'm doing mine in coco coir but I've really been wanting to go organic with it, just reading and learning and practicing with my outdoor vegetables for a better understanding. What all do you mix together for your soil

I buy a roots organic premix and add worm castings and bat/sea bird guano as plants mature. Feedings are done with compost tea.
