dr240 new grow room setup 4x 600w

setting up a secret jarden darkroom 240 with 4 600w air cooled lights

2 lights through one fan and one fan for other two
external air intake == light == light == fan == external vent. 6" ducting and fan (same set up for other 2 lights)
6" fan and rhino pro filter (phat filter) to external vent
usin atami coco
canna coco nutes
heated nutes tank
600w lumatec ballast
600w sunmater bulbs
600w 6" airowings aircooled
6"tt inlne fan x3
rhino phat fiilter pro filter
(4"tt inline fan)(was told not needed but always had intake before)
dr240 grow tent
startiing from cuttings and usin 4l/6l pots then 10l/15l pots
straiin not known

just wondern about air intake as told it wasnt needed i would personaly have an intake (one 4" inline) from outside to aid temps? and to suply plenty of free co2 from outside and for fresh air for babies

is this the best way to go please help

i would def have that intake, especially if the heat from your lights is just getting pushed into the room your tent is in, the heat will start to build up fast. just make sure your carbon filter is pulling out more cfm than your intake pushes in and you should be good on smell otherwise you could have problems

You should just run all fans and lights in unison. I almost went with a DR240 for my next grow but decided to scale down to a DR120 instead (I use a DR120W right now)

Personally, I think you will be pushing it with 4 600w but if you can pull it off more power to you. If you do I would try going with something like this:

Carbon Filter (10"x39" 1400cfm) > Cool Tube > 6" 430 cfm fan > Cool Tube > Cool Tube > 6" 430cfm fan > Cool Tube > 6" 430cfm fan > Exhaust

say man, i just ditched a set up similar to that because i kept burning the crap out of the plants but i think that my hoods REALLY SUK! they r the hydro farm daystar ac 6" and they r both inline with a 440cfm fan and though the air comming out the other side is cool the light is so concentrated no matter how much air is going through them the light is still hot, very disappointed! They make my bald spot sweat when i am under them so i keep them 3 ft above tops and they r only 600w each, so i ditched the tent and the problem with the height. Just something to keep in mind and keep an eye on, good luck to u though
